Description

Sodium Lactate Injection is a sterile solution of sodium lactate which is an electrolyte replenisher used to treat or prevent low levels of sodium in the blood.

Direction of Use: Sodium Lactate Injection is usually given by a healthcare provider, either intravenously (into a vein) or intramuscularly (into a muscle).

Contraindication: It should not be used by people with a known allergy to sodium lactate or any other components of the solution. It should be avoided in patients with metabolic or respiratory acidosis and high levels of lactate in the blood.
