Description
XYLOMETAZOLINE HCL is a nasal decongestant and vasoconstrictor. It works by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion.
Direction of Use:
Use as directed by a healthcare professional or follow the package instructions.
Shake the bottle well before use.
Insert the nozzle into one nostril and spray while sniffing gently.
Repeat in the other nostril if needed.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Contraindication:
Do not use if you have hypertension, heart disease, or thyroid disease.
Do not use if you have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) within the past 14 days.
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Doses and Administration:
Adults and children over 6 years old: 1 to 2 sprays in each nostril as needed, not more than 3 times per day.
Children under 6 years old: Consult a healthcare professional.
