Description
METRONIDAZOLE 100MG is an antibiotic used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria or other microorganisms. DILOXANIDE FUROATE 125MG/5ML is an oral antibiotic used to treat diarrhea caused by amoebic dysentery.
Direction of Use:
METRONIDAZOLE 100MG is usually taken orally, twice a day for 7-10 days.
DILOXANIDE FUROATE 125MG/5ML is usually taken orally, three times a day for 10 days.
Contraindication:
METRONIDAZOLE 100MG should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.
DILOXANIDE FUROATE 125MG/5ML should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug.
Doses and Administration:
The recommended adult dose of METRONIDAZOLE 100MG is 250-500mg orally twice a day for 7-10 days.
The recommended adult dose of DILOXANIDE FUROATE 125MG/5ML is 500mg orally three times a day for 10 days.

METRONIDAZOLE 100MG may cause side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, metallic taste in the mouth, and allergic reactions.
