Description

Dextromethorphan HBr, Phenylephrine HCl, and Chlorpheniramine Maleate is a combination medication used to relieve cough, nasal congestion, and runny nose caused by the common cold, flu, or hay fever. It also used for relief of allergic symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, itching of the nose and throat, and itchy, watery eyes.

Direction of Use:

Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor.
Follow the dosing instructions on the label or your prescription.
Do not take more than directed.
Contraindication:

This medication should not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using this medication, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have:
Allergic to dextromethorphan, phenylephrine, or chlorpheniramine.
Doses and Administration:

The recommended adult dose is one teaspoonful every 4 hours as needed.
Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.
Consult your doctor for children’s dose.
Side Effects:

The most common side effects of this medication are drowsiness, dizziness, and dry mouth.
Consult your doctor if you experience more serious side effects such as seizures, fast/irregular heartbeat, or difficulty breathing.
